The details behind your ritual
A hydrating face serum with four hyaluronic acid forms
Give hydration its own step with a hyaluronic acid face serum featuring sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, sodium hyaluronate, sodium acetylated hyaluronate and hydrolyzed sodium hyaluronate. Glycerin completes this straightforward, moisture-focused ingredient edit.
Explore the skincare ingredient guideHyaluronic Acid: your questions, answered.
Which forms of hyaluronic acid are in this serum?
The formula lists Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate and Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate. Glycerin is also included. Four listed forms does not mean a 4% concentration.
Is Hyaluronic Acid Serum a moisturizer?
It is a hydration-focused face serum, not the cream in our collection. Peptide Moisturizer is a separate face cream. Compare textures, ingredients and directions when choosing your routine.
Should I apply this hyaluronic acid serum to damp skin?
For this specific formula, the current supplier instructions say to massage a small amount into clean, dry skin until absorbed. Follow the directions on the product you receive rather than assuming all hyaluronic acid serums use the same method.
Does this serum contain retinol or vitamin C?
Retinol and vitamin C ingredients are not listed in this formula. This is the focused hyaluronic acid option; our Retinol + Peptide Serum and Vitamin C Serum have separate formulas and precautions.
What people say
Some of these reviews were written by people we sent the product to for free while we were starting out. They were asked for an honest opinion, not a good one, and nothing was offered in return for a positive review. We do not remove reviews for being critical.
Travel bottle staple
Tiny amount lasts. Skin feels cushioned on flights.
Works under makeup
Dries down fast and primer goes over it clean.
Simple and enough
No stickiness, no film. My cheeks look less creased in the morning.
Must go on wet skin
Plumps well if my face is damp. On dry skin it feels like it pulls. I still use it, just more carefully.
Lunchtime tightness gone
Two drops on a wet face, then cream. I stop looking thirsty by noon.
I will buy again
Plumps well on wet skin. If I put it on dry it feels like it pulls moisture out. That is user error, but the bottle should shout that warning.
Skin looks great
Damp face, two drops, moisturizer on top. Skin stopped looking thirsty by lunch. No stickiness.
